Hickory Bourbon BBQ Slow Cooker Meatballs

These slow cooker meatballs harness the sweet smokiness of Duke’s HIckory Bourbon BBQ Sauce, bubbling away in the slow cooker until you’re ready to serve them. Set out toothpicks for easy snacking, and watch them disappear.

Ingredients
2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 (12.5 oz) bottles Duke’s Hickory Bourbon BBQ Sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 350℉. Line two baking sheets with foil and spray the foil with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 pounds lean ground beef, 2 beaten eggs, ¾ cup seasoned bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently to combine, but don’t overwork. Portion mixture into 1” meatballs, and place on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 20 minutes, until browned and some fat has been rendered.
- Transfer drained meatballs to a slow cooker and cover with 2 (12.5 oz) bottles Duke’s Hickory Bourbon BBQ Sauce. Cover, and cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring gently occasionally
