Duke’s “Hot Tomato Summer” is coming to Raleigh
Tomatoes and mayo are an iconic southern pairing. For the fourth year, Duke’s Mayo is bringing back its celebration of that very duo — Hot Tomato Summer.
Celebrated in Richmond, Greenville, Charlotte, and Charleston in the past, 2024 marks the first year for Raleigh to join the lineup.
What is Hot Tomato Summer?
The 10-day event invites local restaurants to whip up their most creative recipes. The only rule? They must use Duke’s mayo and tomatoes. Anything from the classic BLT to a creamy cocktail is fair game, and in the end, winning restaurants will take home the “Golden Tomato” award.
When is it?
This year, Hot Tomato Summer will take place July 18-28, so stay tuned. Duke’s is currently accepting partnership applications from local restaurants.
